We’re looking for films where artificial intelligence plays a meaningful role in the storytelling process.If AI influenced your narrative, structure, visuals, sound, or world-building in an intentional way, your film is eligible.

There is no fixed percentage or technical requirement. We evaluate films based on intent and impact, not on how much AI was used or which tools were involved.

We do not judge films based on tools, software, or technical complexity. The focus is on the story you are telling and how AI supports that vision.
All genres and formats are welcome.
This includes short films, feature films, animation, documentary, experimental, and hybrid formats, in any language.
Yes.
All officially selected films will receive a festival screening. Screenings may take place online, offline, or in a hybrid format, depending on the final festival program.
Films are evaluated by an independent jury based on:
Storytelling clarity and intent
World-building and coherence
How effectively AI supports the creative vision
Technology enables. Storytelling decides.
Enlighten is a curated festival, not a technology competition.While awards are presented, the primary value lies in selection, screening, and inclusion in the Founding Edition archive.
